Hanamura

Hanamura might be my favorite map in terms of environment art, a bit different sort of Overwatch fan art. Can't believe I haven't done studies / fan art of the environments yet considering how much I still play this game.

Really fun project, probably biggest painting I've done. Wanted to see how far I could push the detail over multiple sessions, I tend to try to finish everything in one sitting. This one took 15-20h over 6 days, a huge 8000px 350mb file size. Mostly 1 layer and a canvasy textured oil brush in Krita.
